In today's digital landscape, securely sharing verifiable credentials (VCs) is essential for various transactions and interactions. With the TNG Identity wallet app, you can effortlessly share your credentials while ensuring privacy and security. In this guide, we'll share verifiable credentials using the TNG Identity wallet app on your iOS or Android device.

Steps to Share Verifiable Credentials:

  1. Scan the Verifier's QR Code:

    • Open your TNG Identity wallet app.

    • Navigate to the option to scan QR codes.

    • Using your device's camera, scan the QR code presented to you by the verifier.

  2. Save the Verifier's Name:

    • The verifier's name will be displayed upon scanning the QR code for the first time.

    • Save the verifier's name for future reference to ensure you share credentials with trusted entities.

  3. Select the Verifiable Credential to Share:

    • After scanning the verifier's QR code, you'll be prompted to select the verifiable credential you wish to share.

    • Browse through your available credentials and choose the appropriate one to share.

  4. Review and Accept Sharing:

    • Before finalizing the sharing process, review the details of the selected verifiable credential.

    • Ensure that the information aligns with the verifier's requirements.

    • Once satisfied, accept the sharing request to initiate the credential transfer.

Verifier's Verification Process:

Upon receiving the shared verifiable credential, the verifier will:

  • Check Validity: Verify if the verifiable credential is still valid and has not expired.

  • Evaluate Claims: Assess whether the claims presented in the credential meet the criteria set by their business, product, or service.

Congratulations! You've successfully shared a verifiable credential using the TNG Identity wallet app. Following these simple steps, you can securely share your credentials with trusted verifiers, enabling seamless transactions and interactions in various contexts. With TNG Identity, you can have confidence in the privacy and security of your digital identity. Download the app today and experience the future of credential management.
