4. Email Templates

Email communication is a critical component of the certificate issuance process in nChain Certify. This section will guide you through creating, customizing, and using email templates to efficiently communicate with certificate recipients.

Creating and Customizing Email Templates

There are two ways of creating email templates in nChain Certify:

Creating a template through the “Email Templates” menu.
Creating a template right after issuing a new certificate (when prompted to send the email notification to recipients)

Creating a template through the “Email Template” menu

Navigate to Templates: From the dashboard, click on the "Email Templates" on the left menu. This will take you to the template management page for emails.

Create Template: Click on the "Add New Template" button.

Design Your Template: Use the template editor to design your email. You can customize various elements of the email, including:

The background colour of the email
Font styles and colour
Email text content
Logos

Save and Preview: Once you are satisfied with the design, save your template. You can then preview the template to see how it will look when sent to recipients.

Start your new certificate campaign: From the dashboard, click on "Project & Certificates" on the left menu. Then, click on New>Create New Certificate. Navigate to step 4 and issue your certificate. You will be prompted to send the certificates.

Create Template: Click on "Send certificates" button. A default email template will appear. Click on “Create new template” to start editing a new email template.

Design Your Template: Use the template editor to design your email. You can customize various elements of the email, including:

The background colour of the email
Font styles and colour
Email text content
Logos

Save and Preview: Once you are satisfied with the design, save your template. You can then preview the template to see how it will look when sent to recipients.
