What is nChain Identity doing with my data, and does it act as a data processor or controller?

nChain identity acts as a processor, as it is through this solution that credentials can be issued and verified. However, the end-user holds the data, for which they are responsible for ownership. nChain does not store any personal data of individuals, and any reference to the individual is stored on the public blockchain which is not personally identifiable.
