Update Link Record §

PreviousRead Link Record §NextDelete Link Record §

The Update Link Record operation enables you to logically update the link record.

It creates a new link location on the blockchain containing the supplied link record. The newly created location is linked to the supplied previous link location.

This feature can be used for versions of documents, members of a set, or simply to improve security for arbitrary records.

You can only update the supplied previous link location once.

This operation returns the new link record location, which can be used in a subsequent update operation.
